Central European Starter Kit 2.0 ================================== Updated December 20, 1999 Introduction ============ Central European Starter Kit contains everything you need to begin using Central European languages in your Windows applications: four TrueType fonts and our Central European Keyboard utility. Full support is provided for the three most useful and popular Central European character sets: Unicode, Windows Central European (Code Page 1250) and Internet Central European (ISO 8859-2). These contain the letters needed for English, German, Albanian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, and Slovenian, as well as several typographical symbols. Central European Starter Kit is compatible with Office Suites, Web browsers, e-mail programs, and more. It includes an extensive online help system with detailed notes on using Central European languages in a variety of popular Windows applications. Version Notes ============= Central European Starter Kit 2.0 is a major upgrade, adding 16 new features. These include Unicode support under Windows 95, 98, and NT, full compatibility with Word 97 and 2000 under Windows NT, input language marking, improved display clarity for the included fonts, new hot key options, and support for the Euro currency symbol. The online help has also been greatly expanded to include instructions for using Central European Languages in newer versions of Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, AOL, CompuServe, etc. Installation and System Requirements ==================================== Central European Starter Kit 2.0 requires Windows 3.1, 95, 98, or NT, and 750 KB of disk space. To install, run the program CESK20.EXE (under Windows 3.1 or NT 3.51, choose File/Run from Program Manager's menu; under Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0, choose Start/Run from the Taskbar). License and Ordering ==================== This is an evaluation version. It is fully functional at first, but will stop working after 45 days. To continue using it, you must purchase a password for $29. The online help system contains ordering instructions and a printable order form for mail or fax orders.
